The utimate Palm Island vacation home on Bocilla Lagoon! With western exposures this totally updated home has a heated pool and spa, new kitchen, and incredible outdoor entertaining spaces. A large island in the kitchen for entertaining all ,opens into the great room with views of the pool and Bocilla Lagoon. The great room has a large screen tv and 2 pull out sofa beds ( twin and queen).
The guest room has a bunk bed ( queen and twin) and a seperate twin. Master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bath.Located on the ground level is a new laundry room. Swimming pool and spa (salt water) are heated and a weekly pool service is included. Located off the pool area is a large outdoor kitchen with grill. An outdoor shower is also located near the pool area!
This home is pet friendly with prior approval. We will accept ONE small to medium dog only.
Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit.
Pet Policy: This home is Pet Friendly home. This means that ONE dog is permitted to stay at the rental. No cats are permitted in any of our properties. Certain aggressive breeds as designated by the State of Florida and outlined in our rental contract are not permitted. No exceptions will be made to this policy. There IS a charge to heat the pool due to island cost/Pool Heat Fee is $100.00/week. Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book!
This was our second time staying at Bocilla Bungalow and once again it did not disappoint. The home is well stocked with everything you would need for a great stay. We enjoyed having our morning coffee out by the lagoon watching the wildlife or on the screened in porch which still held a view of the water. It is just a quick golf card ride to the quiet beach where we spent hours enjoying the sunshine. We will be back again soon. Thank you.

Our family stayed at Bocilla Bungalow for 1 week and this was our third time to Bocilla island. The home did not disappoint. It was very clean, with a lovely open space for the family and fantastic porch to watch the sunsets. The kids loved the bunk beds and couldn't get enough of the pool. It was definitely hard to leave at the end of the week!

Everything was BETTER than expected! We enjoyed our time and loved the property. It was finally a vacation where we felt like we were actually on vacation. Property management was easy to get a hold of and exceptional with their service. Although we didn't encounter anything major since the property was in great condition and well maintained. We're definitely planning a return visit.

Absolutely no complaints. Great home with all the necessary items and conveniences. It was wonderful. Only issue was the TV sound was set up for
surround and we could not adjust. Music was way louder than the talking but we did not know how to resolve the issue.

My wife and I have previously booked this house. It is a great little house, well appointed.
With a nice pool and dock. The property is well managed. We had booked the Bocilla Bungalow months ago for our granddaughter and her husband. When they arrived, they found the accommodations exceptional. They would've enjoyed the time there but, there's this thing called red tide, beyond our control, and anyone else's, that forced them to cut their stay short. So, we will look forward to the next time. This is a great, a little house. And palm island is a great place to get away.

The charms of the little barrier island are the miles of beach, its seclusion, very little traffic and friendly residents. That seclusion comes at a price: $55 for a car to cross the ICW on a 4 minute ferry ride. So be sure to take with you everything you need for your entire stay. This Beach Bungalow is a lovely home, well-maintained, well appointed and very clean! Kitchen has newer appliances and has more than adequate dinnerware and cookware. The pool was refreshing and the salt-filter system for the pool is a welcome break from heavily chlorinated systems. The hosts went out of their way to promptly address a very minor issue that arose. They were efficient and friendly. We look forward to our next stay here at this home in such a relaxing atmosphere.

Bocilla Bungalow is a great little island get away on Palm Island. The house is recently remodeled with wood floors, new kitchen and appliances, new bath rooms and new pool. It has a clean and uncluttered feel throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and set up for ease and convenience with a large pantry and plenty of empty cabinet space. The house has a great screened in rear deck with a beautiful view of Bocilla Lagoon. The ground level has a nice outdoor dining area with grill and tiki bar along with two dorm size refrigerators for pool side drinks and snacks. The pool has a nice mix of sun and shade throughout the day. There is also a large laundry room on the ground level along with a clean and private outdoor shower with hot running water. We really enjoyed our week stay at Bocilla Bungalow and would highly recommend this property.

With beautiful views of the water and a three minute golf cart ride to the beach, this home has everything! It was immaculately clean. From the amazing outdoor entertaining space, outdoor kitchen, private dock for fishing, pool and spa, to the beautifully decorated and comfortable interior, our stay could not have been better. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the necessities for this family of six. The appliances were top notch. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We also cannot say enough about the management team at Palm Island Stays. They were available 24/7 (not that we needed them in this perfectly thought out home). Jim was excellent from booking to checkout. We were so sad to leave this piece of paradise and cannot wait to go back!
